Choose a dollar profit or a percentage margin. Margin uses item price plus buyer shipping and gift wrap as revenue; it excludes buyer sales tax. The solver checks prices in one-cent increments around a mathematically bounded range, so rounding and the Offsite Ads cap are handled in the same fee engine as the forward calculator.
A target is a pricing constraint, not proof that shoppers will buy. Compare the result with comparable products and your conversion rate. To keep the guaranteed cent search bounded, reverse tools support combined transaction, processing and Offsite Ads rates plus target margin below 99%, with item prices up to $1,000,000. Unusually high custom rates are supported in forward estimates only.
US defaults: $0.20 listing allocation, 6.5% transaction fee, 3% + $0.25 processing. Offsite Ads is optional in this estimate. Fee components are rounded half up to cents; real statement rounding can differ.
