About Maker Margin

Maker Margin helps independent Etsy sellers understand the relationship between price, fees and contribution profit. It is an independent collection of free calculators, with no connection to Etsy, Inc.

How the tools are maintained

Fee defaults were checked against Etsy’s published fee, payment-processing and advertising policies on 2026-10-25. Calculation code and worked examples are tested together. Defaults are not automatically refreshed; every rate can be edited and the source links are visible beside each tool.

What we do not promise

The tools do not predict sales, tax liability or bank deposits. They estimate contribution before income tax and unallocated overhead. They are not accounting, tax or financial advice.
